American Legion Post 125 will hold
its monthly meeting on Monday January 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm at 3335 West Sunshine
Street (NE corner of Sunshine and West Bypass). This is our new Post 125
location. All Post 125 members, guests
and interested veterans may attend our meetings.
We have some updates and agenda items that will be of
interest to all. We need to discuss membership and updates to get us to
our goal for 2022. We need to discuss our outreach program for the rest
of this year & goals for 2022.
We have done a lot of work on
our new post location and all members should attend this meeting so you can see
what has been accomplished. Specific
details are on our post website at www.post125.org. We will also go over the planned usage for
all the space in our new location (over 8,000 square feet).
If you missed our party last
Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm about 40 of our members and guests had a great
time, with burgers, brats, hot dogs, beer and soft drinks for all. If you missed it we may do it again in the
future.
Notification: A member of our post who was at Saturday’s event, but who has been triple vac’ed had a family member that tested positive for Covid-19 today. The member and family will be quarantining and not attending tonight’s meeting, but I wanted to notify everyone that was here on Saturday they may have been exposed.
