Fellow Legionnaires and Friends,
Our August Meeting is scheduled for tonight, 14 August, 2023 at 7:00 pm at our Post. We will open the post at 5:30 pm for enjoyment of our facility including a special for beer at only $2.00. Other snacks and beverages are also available. We are also running a special “Queen of Hearts” contest (special rules) and video raffle for that night only (Jackpot is $220.00). We are considering having additional post functions in conjunction with our meeting nights and would like everyone’s feedback on what we should consider doing. As always our meetings are open to members and interested veterans that would like to attend or consider membership in our post. We finished our year with a membership of 50 paid for 2023, which was 104.17% of goal for 2023. We were in the posts with over 100% that made us number 5 out of 18 posts in District 17.
District 17’s Commander (Ronnie Chism) will be installing our officers tonight so it should be a good meeting.
