American Legion Post 125’s dream of a post location that would be our home and also assist other veteran organizations has been fulfilled at last. Welcome to our new location at 3335 West Sunshine Street, Springfield MO 65807 (NE corner of W Sunshine and West By-Pass in the north side of the parking lot at Mike’s Unique). Our membership has know grown to over 50 members and we will be utilizing our new location as an event center that will be available for rent. We have over 3,000 square feet of space with a brand new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) wood look flooring. We have 2 handicap accessible restrooms, a 100 square foot concession area and a super nice sound system and video projector and a lot of other updates. We will be able to accommodate up to 300 total or up to 200 with tables and chairs for events. Our rental costs will be more than competitive with others in Springfield and will provide over 90% after expenses going to local veterans. Local veteran groups and first responder will be able to get discounts on our rental fees and in some instance become partners in events. The event center is located in The Veteran Resell Store and will part of their pledge of resources going to local veterans.
