American Legion Post 125 will hold its monthly meeting
Monday, 11/9/20 at 7:30 pm (E-board will meet at 6:30 pm) at Prehistoric
Brewing Company 1816 South Glenstone Ave (Plaza Shopping Center). All Post members, guests and any interested veterans
may attend our meetings. Since we are in
somewhat of a surge in COVID-19, and Springfield now requires “masking” with a
group of 10 or more, we will try to maintain a 6 foot social distance with “masking”
an option for the group.
Items to be discussed will be donations to the post through Mike’s Unique and for
the types of items that may be donated. We
will also talk about fund raising ideas to provide the resources for our
projects. We will also talk about our projects
such as, markers for veterans now in unmarked graves, veteran acknowledgement
tags that are flag holders for veteran’s graves not recognized as such. We will also discuss our ALR and our SAL
progress.
It is important for as many as possible to attend this meeting. Our membership is growing as we now have
doubled our members in the past year and are looking forward to more growth
before the end of the Legions fiscal year in July 2021. See you there.
