American Legion Post 125 will hold its monthly meeting next Monday 7/12/2021 at 7:00 pm at Prehistoric Brewing Company – 1816 South Glenstone Ave (Plaza Shopping Center). All Post 125 members, guests and interested veterans may attend our meetings. The masking ordinance is now really over, but if you are concerned you may still mask.
We have some updates and agenda items that will be of interest to all. We need to begin planning those events. We have some updates on some fund-raising for our projects. Mike Cook has some super updates on Bedouin Jewelry and the processes involving our post. Charles Hopkins has completed the picnic tables for the brewery and also is finishing up the work on the first sets of “corn hole” boards. Tiny did a great job of putting together the design for the boards. We have a new project that may bring us considerable donations that will take a lot of planning. We will also have some new updates on Post 125 shirts that were postponed from last year.
I would like to thank all our members for their involvement in our projects and programs for 2021. PS: I will present the $20.00 prize to the winner of the Bill’s Money contest.
