Queen of Hearts

American Legion Post 125 presents our newest event open to the public at our location at 3335 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 65807. This game is a raffle for the benefit of the veterans we support in our local community. Below is some of the information about how the game works:

* The game is played every Thursday beginning at 5:30 pm and is open to the public.
* You then purchase raffle tickets for $2.00 each, or 3 tickets for $5.00 until 8:00 pm; after sales stop we will draw the winning ticket (there will be a winner each night, but you must be present to win).
* The winner will select one of the remaining 54 cards that are kept in a closed case. If the Q of H is drawn then that person will get the jackpot listed for that night, but if it is not the Q of H then they receive a consolation prize. The amount will vary based on the card.
* 50% of the money for tickets sold that night and previous nights becomes the new Jackpot amount for the next week.
* Complete rules will be available at the Q of H board in The Veteran Event Center.
* Adult beverages and snacks will be available at the bar.
* We will also have movies showing on our big screen TV and we plan for some live entertainment once the crowd numbers justify it.
